Privacy policy

Draft wording — final text to follow.

What we collect

When you join a cupping session we store the display name you enter and, if you choose to give one, your email address. Guests don't need an account. Members who sign in also have an email address and password (the password is stored securely and we can't read it).

Session data

We store the samples, sessions, blind labels, scores, flavour notes and comments you or your organisation enter, along with the time they were created or changed.

Where it's stored

Data is stored with Supabase, our database and sign-in provider, on secure servers. Tasting notes you choose to turn into an AI tasting profile are sent to an AI service to generate that profile.

Who can see it

Your organisation's members can see its samples and sessions. Other tasters at a session only see scores when the host reveals them, or straight away if the session is set to live.

Deleting your data

Guests and members can ask us to delete their name, email and scores at any time by emailing us. We'll confirm once it's done.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
